Dr. Seuss told some pretty amazing tales and wrote more than a few entertaining stories. A little known fact is that in the original tale of the Grinch, he had written in a beaver instead of a dog for his sidekick. But beaver representatives protested, and in order to avoid any bad publicity, the sidekick part was rewritten to it’s current form.
